Stonebwoy 1

Stonebwoy has spent a lot of hours in the studio in Ghana since his debut album launch in March 2012. Several changes have taken place, including Stonebwoy declaring that he is an unsigned artist.
Having worked alongside some great artists in Ghana and having friends outside of Ghana such as those in Chocolate City, he has been able to expand on his range as an artist.

Stonebwoy is known for Dancehall and that is the genre he strives to represent despite the type of music that he write, performs or features on. Stonebwoy was interviewed by Karl X for Boneyaad Radio (who broadcast across the Caribbean and some parts of America) and from that day Stonebwoy was connected to the other artist interviewded on that same show Karamanti, from Jamaica. Stonebwoy went ahead to discuss a collaboration and in August he featured her on his song X-Factor which is currently being played on Jamaican radio and other stations in the Caribbean. Download X-Factor (Link: http://bit.ly/RwsZXg)

Stonebwoy returned in October 2012 from a tour in the UK with Bigg Nash Promotions fulfilling what he says is his mission to spread Afrodancehall and Reggae to the outside world. Whilst in the UK, Stonbwoy alongside IWAN, got together with Sonniballi, who Stonebwoy calls ‘De Grandada’ to create Rize, a timeless track which represents all of Africa. Download Rize (Link: http://bit.ly/QCtlcE)
Another collaboration which is going to set Stonebwoy apart from all his Ghanaian work is the track Wicked which features Caribbean and UK great Gappy Ranks. Download Wicked (Link: http://bit.ly/UjfA3M)
Before his departure, he released two singles “Twin City” ft Humble Dis of R2Bees and “Submarine” in Ghana and they are doing quite well on radio airplay.Download Twin City (Link: http://bit.ly/TvtGT7)

Due to the popular demand for some of Stonebwoy’s tracks and covers that were not released on the ’Grade #1′, Stonebwoy repackaged the album as ‘Grade #1 Reloaded’ which was a double CD and was initially distributed on his London trip for his fans there.

Stonebwoy performed at the Radio and TV Personality Awards on 13th October where he performed on the same stage as Kojo Antwi who is one of Ghana’s greatest musicians. “Stonebwoy is yet to hit CLIMAX!”

The Climax ft. Samini video has recently had 2 nominations for Best Collaboration and Best Reggae Video at the 2012 MTN 4Syte TV Music Video Awards due to be held in November in Ghana.
